The Institution is established to commemorate the memory of Late Dr. Anushka Surana who left us for heavenly abode when she has just started her career. Dr. Anushka was a young scientist having multi facet personality. Scientific world has lost a budding chemist. She was protagonist for the education to depressed and weaker section of the society and to make them self dependent. Dr. Anushka Memorial Educational Society has established a Law College and named it as Dr. Anushka Vidhi Mahavidyalaya, Udaipur.

The Degree in Law is not only to prepare the students to practice the law but it also help them in preparing for jobs like State and Central level Judicial and Civil Services. While studying for Law degree, the practical approach in legal practice or conducting judicial work is kept in view. I think this institution gives a good opportunity for all those candidates who want to have something as career in Law, whether it be a Lawyer, Judicial Officer, Law Officer, Teachers. Any institution in the modern era of advancing technology has to see that its all activities are duly informed with information technology. The college while imparting legal education also aims at giving to its student’s full exposure to information technology. I am confident that this Law College is scaling towards a pioneering institution in the field of legal education with information technology.

The Managing Committee is fully dedicated to make this College as an ideal seat of legal education and research not only at the national level but at the International level, too. The role of law in the governance of the country has increasingly been realized since Independence of India. For proper and effective enforcement of Constitutional provisions, the judiciary has come forward with honest and industrious attempt to bring justice to the doorsteps of people of this country. In this process, the judiciary has intelligently proved as protector of democracy. It is conspicuous that during the last three decades, the independent and effective judiciary has become a need of the people. It is because of legal awakening, public interest litigations, changing attitude of public to resolve their disputes through judicial verdicts and socio-economic revolution through judicial legislation etc. Is increasing a lot on account of it, the positions connected with the administration of justice, like that of Judges, Magistrates, Advocates, Public Prosecutors and Law Officers, have also increased. For these positions, a "Professional Degree of Law" is essential, which can only be obtained from the Law Colleges after pursuing a regular course of study prescribed by respective Universities in consonance with the policies and rules of the Bar Council of India.

This College was established with a sheer object to prove itself an ideal institution of imparting legal education and train the students through the device of Information technology so that they come-up with the expectations of the day, particularly in global context.

I extend my heartiest welcome to all the students, their parents and faculty members to this model Law College.
